Deep cleaning in Wellington

Deep cleaning is for buildup: kitchens that have drifted, bathrooms that need more than a wipe, and homes getting ready for guests, a sale, or simply a fresh start.

A properly scoped service

What to expect from deep cleaning

Deep cleaning is for the buildup that routine maintenance no longer shifts. It gives more time to edges, fittings, grease, soap residue, skirting, doors, and neglected surfaces. Because every property has different pressure points, we define priorities instead of selling an unlimited list under one label.

A deep clean can reset a home before regular service begins, prepare it for guests, or bring selected rooms back under control. If one visit cannot cover everything, we will recommend an order of work so the highest-impact areas are completed first.

Every visit

Included in the clean you book.

  • Kitchen and bathroom buildup, including edges and fittings

  • Dusting and touch points a maintenance visit leaves

Named on the quote, or it is not part of the clean.

  • Inside the oven
  • Inside the fridge
  • Inside windows
  • Wall marks
  • Carpet steam cleaning
  • Inside cupboards

Products and equipment come with the visit.

A home that needs more than the usual fortnightly clean.

Our process

Clear from first message to final check.

01

Identify the buildup

Photos or a walkthrough help us distinguish detailed cleaning from damage, staining, mould, or restoration.

02

Set room priorities

Kitchens and bathrooms often lead, followed by floors, edges, doors, skirting, and touch points.

03

Match time to scope

We allocate enough time for agitation, dwell time, detailing, and repeated passes where appropriate.

04

Plan what comes next

After the reset, we can recommend a smaller recurring checklist to prevent the same buildup returning.

Scope

What shapes the visit

The visit follows the property. These are the details that most often change the time, equipment, or team required.

  • Number and condition of rooms selected for detailed work
  • Grease, limescale, soap residue, dust, and pet hair levels
  • Access behind furniture and the amount of clutter on surfaces
  • Specialist additions such as ovens, carpets, walls, or inside windows

Before we arrive

How to prepare

A little preparation protects your property and lets the booked time go toward cleaning rather than access or setup.

  1. 1Choose the rooms and outcomes that matter most if time is limited.
  2. 2Remove personal items from benches, vanities, and floors where practical.
  3. 3Tell us about mould, pests, sharps, hazardous waste, or damaged surfaces beforehand.

Common questions

Before you book.

Specific requirements will be confirmed in your quote. These answers cover the questions we hear most often.

How is a deep clean different from a regular clean?

A regular clean maintains an already manageable home. A deep clean allocates more time to buildup, edges, fittings, and areas that are not completed on every maintenance visit.

Can the whole house be deep cleaned in one visit?

Often, but the answer depends on size and condition. For heavily neglected homes, staged visits can produce a better result than rushing every room.

Will every stain come out?

No. Cleaning removes soil and buildup; it cannot reverse permanent staining, corrosion, worn coatings, damaged grout, or discolouration.

Can I start regular cleaning afterward?

Yes. A reset followed by a simpler weekly or fortnightly checklist is often the most practical way to maintain the result.
